0 is reporting that UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldowill make his Octagon debut against Josh Grispi on January 1st to co-main event UFC 125 in Las Vegas, NV.

The UFC has yet to confirm, but Grispi has been pulled from his November 11th fight with Erik Koch that was set for WEC 52.

According to the post, it was expected that Mark Hominick might get the call to face Aldo, but the 28-year-old is reportedly injured which results in the Grispi/Koch fight being called off.
